What full-service packing includes
- The materials. Boxes, paper, bubble wrap and wardrobe boxes come with the service, and we take the used materials away afterward.
- Fragile things done properly. Glassware, dishes, lamps and artwork are wrapped piece by piece.
- Furniture protected. Furniture is blanket-wrapped before it leaves the house.
- Labeled by room. Every box is marked with the room it belongs in, so it goes to the right place at the other end.
- Unpacking, if you want it. We can unpack at the new home and take the empty boxes away.
How packing day works
For a bigger home, packing can be done ahead of the truck, so moving day is only loading and driving. For a smaller move, packing and loading can often happen the same day.
You can have us pack everything, or only the rooms you'd rather not deal with. The kitchen, china and artwork are the most common.

We got sooooo LUCKY with this great team! First of all we had a time crunch, however Doug, Joe, Eddy, Andrew, Mike, Jason and Victor pulled off a whole house pack out and I watched every single piece of furniture get carefully blanket wrapped, shrink wrapped and carefully loaded into 3 trucks!!!! I’m telling you the furniture was heavy, heavy heavier!!! The Guys were friendly, hard working, and it was an orchestrated by lots of experience. I would ONLY call Desert Moving Company when any of my family, friends or clients need a moving company!
I thought they were great. U.sed hours given in estimate. Guys worked fast in hot weather. No complaining. Very friendly. Will definitely use them again

Do you bring the boxes and packing materials?
Yes, we bring the boxes, tape and paper. Packing materials are charged separately, and only for what we use on your move. Your written estimate shows them before anything is booked.
Can you pack just part of the house?
Yes. Tell us which rooms when you ask for a quote. The kitchen, china and artwork are the most common.
Do you unpack too?
Yes. We can unpack at the new home, set up the rooms you choose and take the empty boxes away.
How much does packing cost?
