Self-packing
If you prefer to pack any or all of your items for moving and relocation, our experts will provide you with a complete packing guide and all the materials you need to ensure the safe and proper transfer of your items. Our self-packing materials include standard moving boxes, specialized boxes for dishes, lamps, and wardrobes, and moving blankets, wrapping paper, bubble wrap, and more.

Unpacking
With our convenient unpacking services, your packed boxes are opened and their contents are removed and carefully placed in the location that you specify. As part of our comprehensive unpacking services, we will remove all boxes, packaging, and materials for proper disposal. This avoids the mess of unpacking and allows you to immediately start enjoying your new home with a clean and fresh start.

Loading
When it’s time to load your packed belongings for transportation and relocation, everything is marked, labeled and inventoried for a quick and easy loading process. All furniture is protected by either blanket wrapping or stretch wrap film, which is a durable plastic that provides 360-degree coverage of items to keep them free of dust, dirt, and damage during relocation.

Unloading  
To prepare for unloading, we protect your new home with specialized floor runners to prevent scratches or stains to carpet and wood flooring. During the arrival process, each item is checked and inventoried as it’s handled and prepared for delivery at your destination location. During unloading, all furniture, boxes, and other items are placed in the rooms and locations that you’ve specified. Full-service assembly and installation of appliances, beds, bookcases, and other furniture is also available upon request.

Transportation
Our fleet of specialized moving trucks and vehicles features the safest and most current trailers and air-ride suspensions to ensure the safe travel and transfer of items during your residential move. With turn-by-turn GPS navigation and tracking, your shipments are continuously guided and monitored to ensure safety at all times. Our transportation foremen have passed all required written and driving tests and have been professionally certified for safe and proper handling of residential moves.

Installation, Assembly and Disassembly

Any items that require disassembly for packing or transportation will be expertly and carefully handled, with full-service reassembly so they are returned to their fully assembled state at your destination location.

Storage
If you need to store your items before or after transit or accommodate scheduling needs, Desert Moving Company & Storage offers short-term or long-term storage that is readily available. Our highly secure and climate-controlled storage facilities are strategically located and provide virtually unlimited storage space with specialized options for storing sensitive and high-value items. And, to ensure service without limits, our storage services are available for as long as you need them.

Cars/Motorcycles/Boats/Golf Carts
Our custom and specialized packing and moving services also include transportation of larger vehicles and items such as cars, motorcycles, boats, and golf carts. Depending on its size and type, your vehicle will be professionally protected and placed inside one of our moving trucks along with the rest of your belongings, or it can be transported using another vehicle or mode of transportation as needed.

Pools, Spa Tubs, and Pool Tables
For specialized equipment like swimming pools, spa tubs, or pool tables, we have partnerships with select affiliate companies that offer unique expertise and specialized skill and expertise in relocating these items. We can also arrange third party cleaning services to help you with any final cleanup or organizing needs that you have at your new destination. We can manage these services on your behalf or refer you to our affiliates based on your preferences.

If access to your current or future home or company location is difficult because of a narrow driveway, obstructions, or other logistical challenges, we can provide shuttle services to move your items to or from a moving van. We have specialized and accessible trucks to handle your unique logistical needs and shuttle your items as needed.
